Peak Performers is Hiring a Budget Analyst Near Austin, TX

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to conduct comprehensive budgetary analysis and provide invaluable insights to support organizational decision-making.

Major Duties
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to conduct thorough budgetary analyses.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, utilizing graphics, dashboards, and presentations to convey key insights.
  • Develop financial models to effectively communicate budgetary information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of legislative appropriations requests, fiscal notes, and budget instructions.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the agency's goals and objectives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a budget analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, as well as financial management software.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Exciting Opportunity Details
  • Rate: $43.00 per hour.
  • Length of Engagement: 06/03/24-11/30/2024.
  • Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. 40 hours per week. Onsite with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Location: Austin, TX. (78723).
